This outfit isn’t as dressy as if you were wearing a complete suit, but can still be worn almost anywhere. Here is what we paired the gingham shirt with to make this combination work:
Tie- The tie we used here compliments the shirt very well. The design is not over-the-top, but it is interesting, and adds a lot to the shirt.
Jeans- As mentioned above, this is not a complete suit. When pairing a shirt, tie, and jacket with jeans, one needs to make sure that the jeans are in good shape and have a good fit to them. Otherwise, the jeans will make an outfit like this look sloppy.
Lapel- We took a knot cufflink and put it in the lapel of the suit. This is a good way to add some ‘pop’ to your outfit if you’re not wearing a pocket square. A solid white knot cufflink in the lapel does a good job of not hi-jacking the attention from your outfit.
